Soft-wash cleaning for vinyl, brick, stucco, and wood siding. Removes mold, mildew, algae, and organic staining without damaging your home.
What We Offer
Georgia's warm, humid climate creates ideal conditions for mold, mildew, and algae to grow on the exterior of your home. Left untreated, these organisms can stain siding permanently, cause paint to peel, and gradually deteriorate your home's exterior surfaces.
At BrightHouse Exterior Cleaning, we use a low-pressure soft-wash process combined with biodegradable cleaning solutions. This method effectively removes biological growth, road grime, and other surface contaminants without the risks associated with high-pressure washing, which can force water behind siding, strip caulk, or damage painted surfaces.
We work on all common residential siding types: vinyl, brick, Hardie board, stucco, EIFS, and wood. Each surface is assessed before we start, and we adjust our process and solution strength accordingly.
How It Works
We wet down surrounding plants and landscaping, cover any sensitive areas, and do a preliminary rinse of the surface to loosen surface debris.
We apply our cleaning solution at low pressure using dedicated soft-wash equipment. The solution breaks down and kills mold, mildew, algae, and other biological growth at the root.
The solution is allowed to dwell on the surface for the appropriate amount of time, ensuring thorough treatment of all organic growth.
We rinse the entire exterior thoroughly with low-pressure water, removing all cleaning solution, residue, and loosened contaminants.
We walk the property to confirm the results meet our standards. Any areas needing additional attention are addressed before we leave.
Why It Matters
Organic growth degrades siding and paint over time. Regular cleaning extends the life of your exterior finishes and prevents costly replacement.
A clean exterior makes an immediate difference to how your property looks and how it holds its value in the neighborhood.
Mold and mildew on exterior surfaces can contribute to air quality issues and affect occupants with allergies or respiratory sensitivities.
Algae and mold can eat into wood, paint, and even masonry over time. Addressing growth early is far less expensive than repairing the damage later.
